Still Life
For this project I focused on toy photography and editing. I took images from . I focused on the more technical side of photography. I played around with the exposure and blur features in order to complete this project. I wanted to concentrate on experimenting with images as much as I can. This project used 4 primary toys. A tiger, Garfield, Gudetama, and a handmade Kirby toy. I used to have an account for the Kirby account where I would take photos of it's travels. I still had some images that never made it onto the account or were poorly edited. I wanted to give a few of these images some justice so I edited each one from scratch. During the process, this gave me a sense of nostalgia from when I used to do this often. The general premise of this collection was to focus on the adventures that these toys are on. Some are sitting enjoying the gentle breeze, while others are studying a map. It was my goal to have each composition tell its own story. Each image has a very specific and intentional positioning. It was also important to highlight the silhouettes of each toy.
